One week to go , and then I’m back…well maybe. I have walked every day this week. I’m thinking about trying out for the Olympic speed walking team. I’ve got the arms down and everything. The one thing I learned is, walking is hard. Especially walking fast. My outer thighs, and lateral glutes were so sore from walking. I think you use totally different muscles than you do when you run, or at least a different way. Walking also gives you more time to think. I caught up on some podcasts, and listened to the new Metallica CD. It rocks! This time next week I hope to be back on the bike at least.
