Recover Right

Monday, two days after the marathon and I’m still sore.  I really didn’t think I would be this sore.  I slept in till 0730, and just bummed around the house.  I was going to go to masters swim at 1100, but changed my mind.  Instead I went to fc west and did an easy swim on my own.  500 swim, 500 pull, 500 swim, and 500 pull.  I rested a little more in the afternoon, after drinking a protein shake for rebuilding damaged muscles.  I went for a short easy run later on.  30 min. at a slow pace.  My legs were sore to start, but loosened up a bit.  I need to rest and recover with the river to river coming up this weekend!
