Last one

Today I did my last long run of this marathon training!  I knew Saturday would be busy, so I did my long run today after work.  It is only 8 miles.  I say “only” because 8 is a lot less than 20.  I did a straight shot down hilly Washington.  I felt pretty good.  My legs were a little heavy from this mornings ride.  (I did 40 min. on the trainer before work).  I know during a taper the mileage decreases but you keep intensity the same.  I kept my pace around a 7:30 mile.   Now nothing over 4 mile runs until the race!
