Monday was a day of rest.  Not even a weight was lifted.  My Dad was headed back to Gulf shores the next day, so I ate dinner with My step mom and him.  Oh yeah they took my children with them! Now everyone asks, “Won’t you miss them?”  Well yes I will but, I know they will have a blast swimming and playing all day with Grandpa.  I also enjoy the break.  So Tuesday before work I did a tempo run of 4 miles on the treadmill.  About an 8:15 pace.  Why does that seem so much faster on the treadmill?  After work I did a swim workout. I did a 100, 200, 300, 400. Then a 500 pull. Then back down the ladder.  Being my first kidless night, I may or may not have met Kelly at the Office for a drink. 

Wednesday night was track workouts at SHG.  We warmed up ran for 8min, then 6, then 4, 4 again.  I didn’t push myself to hard on the 8, and 6 min. So I felt super quick on the last two, 4min runs.  I had to run before we finished with relays. I hope everyone had a great work out. Great to see everyone!
