I Needed That.

I started the morning with a ride on my trainer.  The whole time I was angry because there was a squeak with every pedal stroke, and my seat was buggin.  I just didn’t feel comfortable.  I stopped after 40 min.   I couldn’t take any more.  Steven took my bike into Bike tech at lunch.  David replaced something in the rear derailleur that was causing the problem, and he cleaned my bike up.  When I got it back after work, it looked brand new!

So the morning ride was a little crappy, and I had to get a 10 miler in this afternoon.  I have been feeling kinda slow the past week, and worrying about the marathon.  I set out in shorts and T. The weather was perfect.  I gave my self a challenge and went all the way out Washington, across Bradfordton, and up and down the frostbite hills.  I felt great.  I kept a good pace even on the hills.  I needed this run.  My confidence is back for the marathon.  I finished my run and later watch some March madness basketball.  I’m glad I didn’t bother to stay up and watch Illini lose.
