… for the marathon. Training for long distance running is not my favorite thing. I love to run but when it was time to do my 20 miler this morning, I was dreading it. Jenni’s group was doing 12 out at the Idot train, and I procrastinated too long to call Jason, or Leah. Thankfully my loving fiance got up to f=run the first 6 with me. We did an extended loop around Washington park, and headed back towards home. We were both feeling good and ended up staying out for 10 miles before I dropped Steven off at home. I grabbed my fuel belt and went to finish my last 10.
I went out W. Washington and down Koke mill. I really felt tired and my legs felt heavy. My last few long runs have been great. I finished my twenty a little slower than usual. I recovered with a bloody mary at the St. Patty’s day parade.
