Bike, Run, Shop

It’s June and its Wednesday…that means track.  I was anxious to get back out there and see how my lungs would hold up, and my legs.  Before this I started the morning with 40min spinning on the trainer, then 6x1min single leg drills.

After work I ran over to pick up the wetsuit that Patty S. is so graciously letting me borrow for the Tri-Shark on Saturday.  Water temp is 70 degrees.  After a short stop at home I road my bike to the track.  Now I know I looked hard core riding my bike to go do a track work out, but I only live a mile from the track so lets not get crazy.  It was great to see so many new faces this year, and all the old favorites.  Katie had a 1200, 800, 400, 400, 800, 1200 ladder planned.  I started out the first 1200 with the fasties that I’m used to running with.  The 1200 would be the only one I ran with them.  I had to slow my pace down to finish the rest.  It felt great to be back on the track.  I rode back home, made a quick change before I went to Apricot Lane with Kelly, and Alyson.  It’s an aw some store, check it out.  I ‘m just sayin’.
