Trainer Time

I was pretty sore today but wanted to get some quality training in before I taper.  I’m still paranoid about my fitness and keep trying to gain that extra something.  With my ankle bothering me, poor motivation, dreadful weather (to quote Dan), and slow runs I just don’t feel like I did 3 weeks ago.  Maybe the training was too lengthy?  Oh well…

So I rode the trainer for 30 minutes at a moderate-difficult effort.  This was preceded by 3 sets of 7 dips and 3 sets of 21 reverse crunches on the Tower of Power.  I also did 3 sets of 11 standing military presses and shoulder shrugs with 25# dumbbells and 3 sets of 21 crunches on the ball.  I felt good afterward just because I did something.
