Ever since I the stress fracture, I seem to be wondering aimlessly in my training. No plan, no goals, just day to day activities. I think a lot of people may run into this every winter, and it is a bad spot to be in.
Today, I went to the Fit Club and did legs then swam 1000 yards. Then after work I hopped on the trainer for a half hour. Just getting the workouts in through the week seems to be challenging. And when they are all indoors, it is even more of a challenge.
This is exactly how the last month has been. A swim here and a trainer there.
I did however for the first time in over a month run 3 miles on the treadmill at a snails pace of 12:00. I haven’t run again because I don’t think my foot is all there yet. But I will return to running again soon.
