It rained out all morning and I really didn’t think it would turn out to be such a nice day. Any how I got my workout in early on Memorial Day. I wanted to see how my legs would do with the reverese brick. The Capital City Biathlon is Saturday and I have not really tried a run, bike. Usually for a triathlon a brick could be a bike, run. The difference is big and your legs can feel it.
I started off with the treadmill (yes, I know it is almost June) at a 6:40 pace. I ran a 5k and then hopped off and hit the time trial bike on the trainer. Oh, my legs did not want to go. I ended up spinning a pretty easy gear for 40 minutes (roughly my 15 mile time.)
The bike did not go as planned. I am not going to blame it on my Magnificent Mile, but it might of had something to do with it…
