Holy Crowd!

The Tuesday night training race left at 6:00 pm.  Jason and I were running a little late.  I had to swing by my house after our short loop.  I seemed to have put on too many clothes.

We meet up with the group, and holy crowd, there must have been 30 riders.  One of the largest rides this year.

Of course it was sprint night and I was going to play it safe.  I hovered in the top ten riders, taking my turn in the rotation.  This is the only way you will not get dropped.  Although we do regroup after the sprints, as long as you are not too far back.

The night ended with the final sprint.  I was chasing down Andy L. and could not close the gap with a 100M to go.  That sprint hurt, and I felt kind of dizzy.  Looking back riders were scattered like crumbs under a 3 year old’s chair at the dinner table.
