Beach Hill Intervals

I set out for a quick ride in the stifling heat of the gulf.  Riding out I had a tail wind.  I made it to a bridge and attacked it like a hill in the midwest.  After the descent  I was at today’s turn around.  Coming back up the other side of the bridge I ran into a couple of cyclist.  They were from California.  We exchanged a little chit chat then I peddled off.  I tried to maintain a 19-20 average on the way back, but found my speed dropping when there was a break between the condos and the gulf.   31 miles for the day, a quick shower then off to the beach.
