Some days you go without accomplishing anything.  Today was NOT one of those days.  My lunch hour started off with the Chad Jordon workout.  Chad stopped by the Danoh Gym and we started a circuit workout, all done on the Tower of Power.  I am not sure what he called it but basically you did 4 exercises: pull ups, push ups, sit ups and dips.

The circuit starts with 1 pull up, 2 push ups, 2 sit ups and 1 dip.  Each circuit you add 1 to the pull ups and dips, and 2 to the push ups and sit ups.

  • 1 pull up, 2 push ups, 2 sit ups and 1 dip
  • 2 pull up, 4 push ups, 4 sit ups and 2 dip
  • 3 pull up, 6 push ups, 6 sit ups and 3 dip
  • 4 pull up, 8 push ups, 8 sit ups and 4 dip
  • 5 pull up, 10 push ups, 10 sit ups and 5 dip
  • 6 pull up, 12 push ups, 12 sit ups and 6 dip
  • 7 pull up, 14 push ups, 14 sit ups and 7 dip
  • 8 pull up, 16 push ups, 16 sit ups and 8 dip
  • 9 pull up, 18 push ups, 18 sit ups and 9 dip
  • 10 pull up, 20 push ups, 20 sit ups and 10 dip

The beginning of the curcuit, I thought it was too easy. By the end (end meaning set 8 for me)  I was praying for mercy!  If I didn’t know any better I would have thought Chad was a Navy Seal.

Not only did I work out at lunch but after dinner, I headed over to the Fit Club and signed up.  With my running on hold, I am going to start swimming and the Fit Club was going to be the most convienient for me.

What a day, I am now ready for bed, after icing my foot.
