5 miles up hill

Let it snow, let it snowshoe

A foot of snow.  It makes running kind of difficult.  But it is days like today, that you dust off your snow shoes and head for the golf course.  Yes, the golf course!  Thank God the one I went to was a 9 hole par 3 course. First Key workout for the week

It has already been a long training week.  I am in the middle of week 4 on my marathon training schedule.  I completed my key workout number 1 for the week on the treadmill.  It was 3x2 at MP with a half mile recovery between repeats.  I felt pretty good.  My  MP or marathon pace is 8:00 miles.  So doing 2 mile repeats at the 8:00 pace was not a big deal.  I ended up with 7 miles for the day.  I … [Read more...]
