Stovepipe and Railsplitter Results & Photos

It’s a bird, it’s a plane….  no that’s just the winner of the Stovepipe.  A great day for a race in the park.  New Salem State Park, that is.  There were two races the Stovepipe Sprint Triathlon which consisted of a 600 yard swim, an 18 mile bike and a 4.4 mile run.  And the longer Railsplitter Triathlon which was a 1 mile swim, a 36 mile loop bike through the Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Park and a 7 mile run through Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site with a run down the main street of an 1800’s pioneer village.  Links to the results and photos below. A big thanks to Lance Cull for coming out and taking photos!
