Just call me Popeye

PhotobucketYeah! It’s a Tuesday, and I got out of work on time!  I was able to  make it to 1730 ab attack at fc.  I have not done this class in a while, but my abs held up through the class. We used the small medicine ball to do our planks. That was tough!

After abs I went to the pool. I did a straight 1 mile swim. The water seemed exceptionally warm and salty tonight. If anyone says you don’t sweat while you swim, it’s a lie. I was definitely sweating. I did 20 laps warm up, and the last 26 I did every 4th fast.

I went home and started dinner… Just call me Popeye, because spinach is my new favorite food. Spinach is low in saturated fat, and very low in cholesterol. It is also a good source of niacin and zinc, and a very good source of dietary fiber, protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper and manganese. Not as high in iron as animal products, but not bad for a green leafy veggie, and we all know how I feel about eating animals. So tonight I cooked my spinach with some garlic, mushrooms and soy sauce. I’m strong to the finish, cause I eat my spinach…
