Before I go

By Kim • Jul 14th, 2008 • Category: Kim's Training Log

Before I left to drive home today I did a 4 mile tempo run on a nice bike trail in Shawnee.  Nothing special, just a hot fast run.  Saturday we drove to Noel Missouri and went rafting on the Elk River.  Well we floated down the river and drank a beer or two.  This was my first float trip, and it was a blast.  The whole sleeping in a tent in 90 degree weather, I could do with out.  Sunday we drove back to Kansas.  I had a vegan pizza for dinner at Waldo pizza.  Delicious.  This time I paid attention, and actually saw some fountains.

  1. That sounds like a great trip…except for sleeping in a tent in 90 degree weather.

  2. You should have insisted on a hotel. Doesn’t he know who you are?

  3. LOL. I know. I don’t want him to think I’m too high mainteance.. yet.
