Thanksgiving Weekend Monotony

My toe is still a little tender so running is still not an option yet.  So Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday I rode the trainer for about 30 minutes each time.  It seems my cycling legs were a little rusty as it took until Sunday before I felt I could push a good gear.  Contrary to Dan’s trainer workouts these sessions were not that special.  Simply increasing my gearing over 30 minutes until I was sufficiently tired.  I finished each session with a combination of either weights or pull-ups, reverese crunches, and dips.  After a couple of weeks hiatus I feel my motivation is improving.

Dan’s mustache is motivating enough for me

  2. Dan says:

Neff, I hope my mustache is enough to get you training for the Illinois Marathon on April 11!

Neff has a 5 o’clock shadow at 10:00 in the morning.

  4. Neff says:

Thats april 11…….is it possible to do that in 3hrs on 5 months of training?

  5. Dan says:

3hrs… I’m sure it is, but not running with Jason and I…:)

  6. Neff says:

oh now come on–thats not very motivating……….I know you guys have a secret training plan. Hell Im thinking Jason only works part time cause I never see him at the day care but 1-2 times a week. He looks skinnier everytime I see him.

The best weightloss program is having kids. They are so stressful that you just waste away. Neff, I’m sure with your VO2 Max you can do 3 hours.
