Trail Run Over Seattle

By Jason • Aug 5th, 2008 • Category: Jason's Training Log

Been staying at Sandy’s other Aunts’s house the past 2 days in the suburb of Isoquah. The run started out with some trepidation as my calves were killing me right away. It eased a little after about a mile.
I ran a total of 5 grueling miles. The 1 mile to and from the house was nice and flat but the 3 miles in between were anaerobic hell. It was all on single track trails ascending a total of 800 feet and reaching a maximum grade of 50% (at least that is what my Garmin read). Needless to say there was some walking and tree grabbing involved.
Later in the day I was visibly limping. It looks like it is time for some Aleve loading. See ya in Springpatch.

  1. You have the Garmin 205 correct? Bout time you get back to work……Out there doing micro brew tours

  2. I have the 305.
I was wrestling kids, shotguning beers when I had time, and hanging out with in-laws.
