1 Mile Down……

By Jason • Jul 20th, 2008 • Category: Jason's Training Log

I waited until about 20:00 tonight to allow for the smothering humidity to die down.   It was still miserable but the humidity was not going to deter my exhilaration today.  I ran for the first time in 5 weeks.  It felt GREAT!  Only 1 mile but that didn’t matter.  Getting out and doing what I love is what mattered.  I don’t think I will take training for granted ever again.  The shoulder felt fine but the up and down movement of my flabby pectoralis muscle kind of pulled on the clavicle.  The discomfort only lasted about 1/4 mile.  I can’t wait to go even farther the next time.
