I will be glade to see the month of December over. It seems like I have taken on more viruses than miles. I have been on a every other day schedule. Not purposely but, sometimes things work out that way.
I came down with some more congestion Sunday night after a 6 mile treadmill run. Monday I felt like a$$, and did nothing. Monday night my whole body was aching and I could not get warm, even with the full pajama ensemble (yes, they had feet).
A few Advil later and I was sweating and finally got some sleep. I slept in a little late and it took me a while to come around. The weather was totally awesome and I could do nothing but think about going for a run.
At 3:00 I put some shorts on, a long compression, and a tech tee. I also brought along my Pearl Izumi wind vest (I love PI).
I felt pretty good considering. I wasn’t short of breath or hacking, so that was a good sign.
It is amazing how a run can make you feel better, at least for a little while.
And on a side note, I was awarded the SRRC (Because We Think You Are Awesome Award). Yes, it does kind of look like the Stanley Cup, but I am not complaining. I am very honored and would like to thank my parents, my wife, my kids, God, Jason and Kim and all the other HardyBreed Rabbits out there. It has been a real exciting year at HardyBreed, and I think 2009 is going to be even better. The SRRC has a new website coming out which promises to be more interactive and up to date. HardyBreed is also rolling a slightly new look in the next week or so. Stay tuned! And thank you SRRC Members! for making HardyBreed what it is today.
