Never Go Straight

I headed out on my normal path today.  Repetition gets boring, so today I turned right on a street that I normally pass by.  I have gone by this neighbor hood several time, but have never went in.    I guess you could live in a town your whole life and only know 10% of it.  And when you live in a town as small as Springfield, IL, you can see how pathetic that can be.

This wasn’t a big change to my route, but it gave my mind something else to think about.  Looking at houses, cars, and people that I have never seen was kind of refreshing.

I did 8.5 miles in 1 hour and 9 minutes.  A great run.

I challenge you to take a right or left on your next run and never go straight.
