The 2010 Illinois State Fair 2 Mile Parade Run was held on Thursday night. The heat and the humidity were unbearable. The event started out on Saturday July 24th with the Dew the Tri for Kids event at Lincoln Park. Saturday, July 10 was a perfect day for the 31st annual Women's Distance Festival, a 2-mile race through beautiful Washington Park. A record participation of over 500 women completed the race to benefit the SIU Breast Center.
