Dance Off

I woke up early this morning  and I thought about going to swim but instead I did "hip hop booty bounce" on Exercise TV.  I am a horrible dance and have no rhythm, but it was a fun workout none the less.  After work I went home and get every thing ready for our 50 mile bike ride. I had an hour before Steven got home so I got the water bottles filled and went out to air up the tires.  I started … [Read more...]

Just An Observation

Shortly after the training race started Robo flatted.  It was so early on we decided not to wait.  (it's my opinion and my opinion only but I don't feel we should ever wait for a flat on training race night.  Any other ride, of course we should wait.  But that's just my opinion). 1000 Miles an Hour

It's Wednesday night and I headed to the track.  Katie had 1000 repeats planned for the night.  We were going to try and get 6 done.  I kept having shoe lace problems, Joe and Bob offered to show me there amazing running and tying trick.  The first three I ran at around a 4:20, and then I ran 2 with Katie at a faster pace, a 4:10.  I think we are running faster than a 10k pace, I said to … [Read more...]

Easy Run

I haven't done a thing since Sunday's Tri.  Dan and I did do a podcast on Tuesday since it was raining.  Feeling sluggish today I went out for an easy 5 mile run.  I felt pretty good all things considered. After a shower the family went to the Magic Kitchen.  Garlic Pepper Chicken, Mild+, with a few Miller Chills hit the spot. … [Read more...]

Lunch without Eric?

burger-king

Yes, the title of the post sounds so sad... But don't get me wrong there was lunch and there was Eric.  He did show up but sat on the bench with his son eating BK, fingerbanging the runners.  Bang, Bang, Bang! No fries left for the runners, Billy took control and started the workout.  800, 400, 800, 400.  Sound pretty easy huh?  Well, I always say it is what you make of it. And I am not … [Read more...]
