Cycling Ed.
Steven and I were up early to get a run in before work. Weplanned a 4 mile run. It was dark and cold when we set out. We kept around an 8mile pace. That's fast for us because we are usuallly chatting, and Steven is technically still on the DL. We ended up doing 5 miles in 41min. After work, I went to fc and did 1700 Powerzone. I ducked out a few minutes early, so I could get t the … [Read more...]
Do you know a good Physical Therapist?

This has been a hectic week. Monday I hit the treadmill for a easy recovery run. I ran 6 times, but felt like I could have ran all night. I felt great, like nothing could stop me. But then Tuesday rolled around. I got on the treadmill, and a mile or two into the run, my achilles tendon started hurting. Before I knew it I had to stop the treadmill. Totally 3 miles for the day. On Wednesday … [Read more...]

I warmed up for 1 mile then got the … [Read more...]

The Cat Is Watching
The great thing about running on a treadmill is that you can go shirtless without anyone seeing you. I ran 5 miles today in the basement with only my cat as company. Luckily she did not make fun of the fur coat I was wearing. Weekly Total: 8 miles … [Read more...]
Epiphora
Epiphora is the medical term for watery eyes. I just think it's a cool word. I know it's not just me who has had this symptom while running. This was the case today when I went for a run. Don't you love it when the temp is the teens and you start your run and your eyes start watering. Then it is so cold the water freezes to your eye lashes! Love it! Oh well just one of the joys of winter running. … [Read more...]
